Château de Beaucastel is a well-known winery located in the southern Rhône region of France, known for producing some of the finest Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines. The winery was established in the 16th century and has been owned and operated by the Perrin family for over a century.

Château de Beaucastel is known for its flagship wine, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which is a blend of 13 grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault. The vineyards are located on the plateau of La Crau, which is considered one of the best terroirs in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected to ensure the highest quality wine.

The winemaking philosophy at Château de Beaucastel is focused on producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the southern Rhône. The winery uses traditional techniques, such as aging the wine in large oak barrels and using minimal intervention in the winemaking process, to produce complex and flavorful wines.

Château de Beaucastel's Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines are known for their rich, complex aromas and flavors, with notes of dark fruit, spices, and earthy, minerality. The wines have a reputation for their full-bodied structure, good balance, and long, lingering finish, and are considered some of the best examples of Châteauneuf-du-Pape produced in the southern Rhône.

In addition to its premium Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château de Beaucastel also produces a range of other Rhône wines, including red, white, and rosé wines made from the same grape varieties used in its flagship wine. These wines are also highly regarded and sought after by wine enthusiasts around the world.
