Chateau Lagrange is a renowned winery located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, France. Established in the 18th century, the estate boasts over 118 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the vines planted on gravelly soil. The vineyards are composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot grapes, which are carefully harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality of fruit.

The winemaking philosophy at Chateau Lagrange is based on a traditional approach that respects the environment and the terroir. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged in oak barrels for 20-22 months before bottling. The resulting wines are powerful and complex, with intense aromas of dark fruit, leather, and tobacco.

Chateau Lagrange produces three different wines: the Chateau Lagrange Grand Vin, the Les Fiefs de Lagrange, and the Moulin de Lagrange. The Chateau Lagrange Grand Vin is the flagship wine of the estate and is considered one of the finest wines in the Saint-Julien appellation. The Les Fiefs de Lagrange is the second wine of the estate and offers a more accessible and approachable style. The Moulin de Lagrange is the newest addition to the range and is made from younger vines on the estate. Overall, the wines of Chateau Lagrange are a testament to the history and tradition of Bordeaux winemaking and are a must-try for any wine enthusiast.
